What we collect
Quiz and plan
When you take the quiz we collect your name, email address, market, CRM, team size, lead sources, budget, comfort with technology and the tasks that take your time. We use these answers to build your plan. Your plan is reached through a private, signed link; anyone with that link can open it, so share it with care.
Newsletter
If you opt in, we keep your email address and where you signed up so we can send tips. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
Community
To post, comment, vote or upload a video you sign in with your email (a magic link or one-time code). We store your email for sign-in, your display name, and what you post: posts, comments, links, videos, votes and reports. Your display name and posts are public; your email is not shown. Videos are reviewed before they are published.
Contact form
We store your name, email, topic and message so we can reply.
Usage statistics
We count how the site is used so we can improve it, without cookies and without storing your IP address or browser details. Two systems do this:
- Our own event counts. We record events such as a page view (the page and, on the first page of a visit, only the domain of the site that sent you), starting or finishing the quiz, a plan being emailed, opening a tool, skill or social post, copying a prompt, clicking through to a tool’s website, signing in or creating an account, saving an item, posting, commenting or voting in the community, newsletter sign-ups and unsubscribes, and uploading a profile photo. Each event has a time and an anonymous visitor id. That id is a one-way hash of your IP address and browser type mixed with a random value that changes every day and is deleted after two days, so it can’t be turned back into your IP address and can’t follow you from one day to the next. The IP address and browser type themselves are never stored. If you’re signed in, the event is also linked to your member account. Known bots are ignored.
- Vercel Web Analytics. Our host counts page views and broad, aggregate information (such as the referring site, country, browser and device type) without cookies, using a similar daily-rotating anonymous hash.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, neither system records anything about your visit.
Stored on your device
The social media feed remembers your likes, saves and sound setting in your browser’s local storage. Signing in sets one essential, first-party session cookie that keeps you signed in; it isn’t used for analytics or advertising. You can clear these in your browser at any time.
Where it’s stored
- Vercel hosts the site. Quiz submissions and newsletter sign-ups are recorded in our Vercel server logs, and Vercel Web Analytics provides the aggregate visit counts described above. Like most hosts, Vercel also processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
- Supabase stores member accounts, saved plans and items, the newsletter list, community posts, comments, votes, reports, uploaded videos and photos, contact form messages, and the anonymous usage events described above.
- Embedded social posts (for example from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or X) load content from those platforms, which may apply their own privacy policies.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t use third-party advertising trackers, Google Analytics or tracking cookies.
- We don’t share your information with the tools listed on the site.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to remove you from the newsletter. You can delete your own community posts and comments at any time. For anything else, contact us and choose “General question”.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
